Mary M. Frost 93, of Bloomingdale, IL. passed away peacefully in her sleep with family by her side after a long journey with Alzheimer’s disease. She was loved by all. She retired from GE/Honeywell in 1985 after 25 years. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas and playing the Penny Slot machines. Mary had a green thumb...she could make any plant thrive. She had the most beautiful rose garden. She used to tell me one of the secrets to having a long healthy life was working in your garden. She was a very healthy active woman till Alzheimer’s sneaked up on her at the age of 91.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glen of over 50 years. She is survived by her 5 children: Cheryl; Dan; Susan; Heather and Wanda; 8 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
Private Services will be held in Phoenix, Arizona at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials welcomed to The Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
