Terry Dale Pfennig, 65, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of Austin, Texas, passed away January 6, 2020, in San Antonio, Texas.

Terry was born on December 14, 1954 in Austin, Texas. He had a long career in the Linen/Cleaner Business. He enjoyed gardening and was blessed with a green thumb, and had a love of rescuing stray cats.

Terry is survived by his mother, Ruth Jean Weiss Pfennig. His father, Victor R. Pfennig, preceded him in death. Terry also leaves his wife, Mary Rodriguez Pfennig; his daughter, Amanda Nicole Pfennig and fiancé Matt Baver; granddaughter, Camille Evyn Atkinson; two stepsons, Bryan Hughes (Meredith), and Byron Hughes (Angie); step-grandchildren, Chloe and Colt Hughes; two sisters, Rachel Pfennig Cauley (Jerry Hines) and Karen Pfennig Petty (Don); and one brother, Barry Don Pfennig (Marian); along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Terry also leaves behind his much loved dog, Caesar.

Friends may pay their respects between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 13, 2020 at the Cook-Walden/Capital Parks Funeral Home in Pflugerville, Texas.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 14, 2020 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church Cemetery.
