Lee accepted Christ as his personal Lord and Savior at an early age, and united with The Cherry Valley Church of Christ under the Leadership of the late Reverend L. M. Johnson. He attended public schools in the Dallas Independent School District graduating from South Oak Cliff High School, then enlisted in the Marines.
Lee truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, enjoying his cartoons, watching his favorite Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Mavericks, chatting with friends and family, and hanging with his posse.
Lee was preceded in death by both parents, Roosevelt and Dortha Ballard.
Those left to lament his passing and celebrate his homegoing are his brothers, Donald Ray Broadus, Homer T. Berry and Roosevelt Ballard Jr.; Sisters, Jacquelin Bellinger, Vanessa Ballard and La Homa Ballard; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
