Billie had many talents and interests including being an accomplished pianist, a world traveler, an avid tennis player, and a choir member. She was a woman of strong faith and civic minded, volunteering for several organizations including the Society of St. Stephen through Kingwood United Methodist Church. She was also a certified pilot and trained with the Women’s Ferry Command (WASP) during World War II. Billie was all of this and much more but above anything else she was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
Billie was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis and Dotte Clark and her husband, Roy Bob Dees. She is survived by her children, Bobby Jack and wife Susan Dees, Barbara and husband, Dale Francis, Donna and husband, Bruce Lasher, and Linda and husband, Scott Lasher; her grandchildren, Joshua, Nicholas, Jordan, Ben, Kendall, Jason, and David; and ten great grandchildren.
