C’est dans la douceur et entourée de l’amour des siens à la Maison Saint Raphaël à Montréal, le 29 décembre 2019, à l’âge de 83 ans, qu’est décédée Lucile (née Lagacé) Bernard, fille de feu Bertha (Soly) et Elphège Lagacé.
Lucile laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Pierre, Martin (Jad), Charlotte (Alan), Charles (Jeff) et Marie-Hélène (Douglas); ses 6 petits-enfants Louis-Georges (Bianca), Raphaël (Marie-Ève), Jeanne (Joseph), Adèle (Anselme), Sachali et Maya; et son arrière-petit-fils Léandre. 12ième d’une famille de 13 enfants, elle rejoint ses frères, Jean-Paul, Jules, Jean-Louis, André et Yves, et sœurs, Marie-Jeanne, Pauline, Françoise et (sœur adorée) Noëlla, ainsi que ses beaux-frères et belles-sœurs de la famille Lagacé. Elle laisse également dans le deuil ses frères Bernard (Mireille) et Fernand (Jovette) ainsi que sa sœur Jacqueline (feu Gerard), et de nombreux neveux et nièces, autres parents et amis.
Une romantique d’une grande élégance et une amoureuse dévouée de la musique, Lucile a vécu sa vie avec humour, joie et vivacité, partageant ses multiples passions pour l’art, le voyage, la musique et la littérature avec ses enfants et petits-enfants. Elle a aimé être mère; elle a laissé une marque indélébile sur sa famille et sera en nous et dans nos cœurs, pour toujours.
La vie de Lucile sera célébrée à 11 heures, samedi le 15 février 2020 à la Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection au 4601, chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC, H3V 1E7. She is also survived by her brothers Bernard (Mireille) and Fernand (Jovette) as well as her sister Jacqueline (late Gerard), and many nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Twelfth in a family of 13 children, she joins her brothers Jean-Paul, Jules, Jean-Louis, André and Yves, and sisters Marie-Jeanne, Pauline, Françoise and (adored sister) Noëlla, as well as her stepchildren, brothers- and sisters-in-law of the Lagacé family.
A romantic of great elegance and a devoted lover of music, Lucile lived her life with humor, joy and liveliness, sharing her multiple passions for art, travel, music and literature with her children and grandchildren. She loved being a mother and left an indelible mark on her family. She will be in us and in our hearts forever.
Lucile's life will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection Chapel at 4601, chemin de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC, H3V 1E7.
