Robert was born in Newark, New Jersey to Frances and Joseph Harding on January 20, 1942. Robert was loved and respected by all who knew him. He was a jack of all trades always wanting to quench the thirst for new knowledge. Robert was always there for a story or a good laugh. He was known as a master jokester and story teller to everyone he came across. He loved working with his hands which benefited various companies over a span of 60 years. As a Bloomfield Police Officer, he received various awards for excellence. In his spare time, he loved to draw, make furniture and various other items out of wood.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Christine, daughters, Cindy, Stephanie and her husband Michael, Desiree, and son Weston and his fiancée Chriss, Sisters, Josephine Maroulis, Bridget and Lou Caberson, Angelica Jennings, brother, Emery Harding, grandchildren, Teresa, Michaela, and Isabella and many loving nieces, nephews and extended family. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend to everyone. He is preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Benjamin Harding.
