Evelyn Jordan Benson, 74, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2020. Evelyn was born in Johnston County on January 9, 1946 to the late Parham "PR" and Rilla Powell Jordan. She is survived by her son, John A. Benson and his wife Tammy; granddaughter, Brandi Chavis and her husband Steven; grandson, Jaron Benson; great grandson, Aaron Chavis.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 2:00 in the chapel of McLaurin Funeral Home.
