Preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret; son, James R. Steidl.
Survived by his loving wife of 74 yrs. Dorothy Steidl; children, Sharon (Paul) Hunt, Dawn Marie Steidl, Steve (Marie) Steidl; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; further survived by other relatives and friends.
Richard was an avid fly fisherman and hunter. He proudly served in the Marine Corps during WWII. Richard was a prankster, he always enjoyed looking for the next opportunity to pull a fast one. He was also a Golden Glove Boxer. Above all, Richard loved spending time with his family.
Funeral service 11 am Saturday, Feb. 1 at Gearhart Anoka Funeral Home (552 East River Rd., Anoka) with visitation starting at 10 am.
Interment with Military Honors Calvary Cemetery
