Pak Chee Seto passed away peacefully surrounded by his wife and children. Pak Chee valued his family above all. His joyful nature, curiosity, creativity, work ethic, and intellect are evident in each of his children. He was the master of his fate and the captain of his soul. Pak Chee persevered as an entrepreneur and provider in Canada after surviving famine in China. Enjoying tender moments with his wife, road trips with his children, classical Chinese opera, and coffee dates with his beloved friends, Pak Chee leaves behind a legacy of hope, duty, integrity, generosity, and selflessness for each of his loved ones to continue. His fated love, Kem Shel, will miss holding his hand, his children the brightness in his eyes when he smiled, and the Halifax Chinese Community will mourn the loss of a gentle soul. Pak Chee defied all odds. His wife and children will keep their promise to continue his spirit.
Pak Chee was predeceased by: his brothers, Kei Seto, George Seto, Ken Seto, sister Nai Sieng, his mother and father. Pak Chee is survived by his wife Kem Shel Seto, brother Joe Seto, sister Nai Sau, daughters: Ellien (Jeff Davy); Megan (Kevin Leung); Heather; Helen (Andrew Morash); and son Andrew (Katherine Pietroniro).
