Ottis Lee LeBouf was born in Mont Belvieu, Texas on June 11, 1936 and passed away in Baytown, Texas on February 3, 2020 at the age of 83. He moved to Louisiana for a short time during his childhood, then returned to Baytown where he resided for the remainder of his life. Lee graduated from Cedar Bayou High School in 1954, where he enjoyed playing football and was voted Most Handsome.
Lee worked at Diamond Alkali, BF Goodrich, and retired at Geon after 42 years. He was a member of Cedar Bayou Baptist Church and was a lifelong Christian. Lee was a handyman and could fix just about anything. He loved spending hours working in his garage and gardening. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting with his two sons. Together, they made memories to last a lifetime. Lee never missed a sporting event that the boys and the grandchildren were involved in. He loved being there for special events and occasions. He especially enjoyed his weekly family dinner nights and playing dominoes. Most of all he was a devoted husband, loving father, and dedicated grandfather and friend.
Lee is preceded in death by his mother and father, Rufus and Dora LeBouf. He is survived by his adored wife of 63 years, Marian McClain LeBouf; his sons, Jerry LeBouf, Randy and Candy LeBouf; grandchildren, Whitney and David Wood, Zachary LeBouf, Malena and Charles Rikard, and Bryan LeBouf; great-grandchild Olivia Rikard; sister, Shirley Hood; several nieces and nephews; and extended family who took special care of him daily, Urslin Gustave, Kathy Saunders, Vanessa Saunders, and Christal Saunders.
Serving as pallbearers will be John Dickens, Bryan Fanestiel, Lance Frazar, Raymond Hooper, Jonathan Laird, and Willy St. John.
The family will receive friends on Monday, February 10, 2020 from 10am until 12pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. The funeral service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
