She was born on October 12, 1929 to Joseph and Amadia Manzo in Portsmouth, Virginia where she was raised and educated. Mrs. Olinek was a librarian for the Yonkers Board of Education for thirty years until her retirement. She was a longtime parishioner of Christ the King Church and enjoyed bingo, attending penny socials and playing slot machines at casinos. She was married to her loving husband, John Olinek, Sr. in Yonkers. Mr. Olinek died on August 19, 1991. Survivors include a son, John Olinek and his wife Lauren of Yonkers, her twin sister, Josephine Esposito of Hopewell Junction and her granddaughter, Eva. She was predeceased by three brothers, Anthony, Raymond and Vincent Manzo and a sister, Virginia Manzo. Visiting hours will be at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home on Monday 4-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Christ the King Church on Tuesday February 11th at 10am. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
