Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late William and Elise (Bender) Kobrin. He spent his youth in New York moving to Barrington over forty years ago.
A Veteran of the United States Army, he served during the Vietnam War as Captain Medical Corps. He was a Clinical Psycharist for over 50 years, who always advocated for his patients. He had his own private practice in Fall River, Massachusetts.
A sport enthusiast, Dr. Kobrin enjoyed politics and playing the piano.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Makenna, Kendra, Daniel and Naomi Kobrin and one sister, Joy Rosenberg.
His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 2:00PM at the Samuel Priest Chapel in Lincoln Park, 1469 Post Rd., Warwick with burial to follow. Contributions in his honor may be made to National Alliance on Mental Illness, P.O. Box 49104, Baltimore, MD 21297.
