Cayden was born in Jacksonville, NC, to Karrie Lovvorn and Danny Gipson on August 14, 1992. He graduated from Mill Creek High School and attended Georgia Southern University. He worked as a sales representative for Best Buy for eight years.
Melanoma may have claimed his body, but it could never touch his beautiful soul. Throughout everything this aggressive and brutal cancer brought into his life, Cayden’s kind spirit and calm demeanor was always present. He had every right to complain, but never did. He fought with unbelievable courage, grace, and wisdom well beyond his years. Even with the gravity of what he faced, he still found ways to make us laugh. Cayden’s passion was music. If you were lucky enough to share a music festival experience with him, know that you were a part of some of the best memories of his life. Cayden was kind, funny, fiercely loyal, hardworking, and loved his family and friends dearly.
Cayden is survived by his parents Karrie Lovvorn, and Danny Gipson: grandparents Beverly Doliber Brandes, Victor Brandes, David and Linda Lovvorn, and June Warren: and many other beloved family members and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cayden had a strong love and appreciation for animals. Should friends and family wish, memorial donations may be made to PAWS Atlanta http://pawsatlanta.org.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to our FedEx and Best Buy families, Mark Allen, Bill and Beth Hembree, Julie and Tim Woodson, and Shafi Jamil for the love and support you’ve given us over the last year.
