A much-loved wife, mother, daughter and sister, Moneque Senette, 48, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away at University of Louisville Hospital February 10, 2020 with her family present. She had bravely confronted and fought cancer. She was born December 16, 1971 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She graduated from Elizabethtown High School and received a Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Louisville, December 1998; a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisville, August 1996; Associate in Arts from Elizabethtown Community College, May 1994 and granted membership in the Golden Key National Honors Society at the University of Louisville in 1994. Moneque worked 8 years for Arch Care where she used her education and talents.
She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Jason Black of Louisville; daughters Jordan Dixon, Madison Black, Myah Nelson and Laila Black; parents Jerry and Barbara Bransford; brother Jamie Bransford. Moneque was loved by so many friends and family members including aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and will be loved and missed by all.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2020 at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A service will immediately follow the visitation at 6:00 p.m., Friday, February 14, 2020 at Arch L. Heady with the Pastor Joe Thomas.
Memorials may be given to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
