Dear Tommy and kids, 
I can't believe it's already been three years since you lost Beavie. I lost my brother recently and was reminded how painful it is to lose a loved one.  Thank Jehovah for our wonderful hope of the resurrection. We think of you all often and hope you are all doing well and staying faithful to Jehovah. I know things won't be right till you have your beloved wife in your arms again. I don't think that will be too long the way the world is getting. Tell Lisa and Terri hello and give them our love. We love you all very much and hope to see you again someday in the paradise. 

Tommy and kids. I know this is going to be a hard day. You are going to be hearing and talking a lot about Genever today. We hope it won't be too painful. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. We are so sorry for your loss. Take comfort in all the wonderful years you had together and will have again soon in God's new world. Prince and I have many memories of Genever and Tommy that we are looking forward to share with Genever in the near future when she is brought back to us, in good health and sharing her wonderful smile with us all.

Hello:

Thinking of you.  Really feel for you.  Having recently experienced the loss of my mother I deeply relate to what you are no doubt experiencing.  It is an indescribable loss.  We do take comfort in the resurrection - that is a certainty.  The thing to rise to is how to live without them in the interim.  With Jehovah's help we'll manage - one day at a time.  Everyone tells me it never goes away, but that coping with it will improve.  I long for that day for myself and for you.  Your mother was loved by many.  She will be missed.  It hurts my heart thinking about her having to lose her life and you all having to go on without her until you meet her again in Paradise.  Oh, what a reunion that will be!!!! I am so thankful to Jehovah for setting things in place to eventually undo all that Adam and Eve (and Satan), have done to us.  They threw us into such cruel circumstances.  One friend told me that it's like we are riding a train.  Some of us are in seats and some of us are in the sleeping quarters, but we are all headed to the same destination - PARADISE. On occasion that thought helps me some.  Hang in there and I'll be over here trying to do the same.  I know it hurts.

Sis. Tompkins is a very special person to me and my family. I have very fond memories of being with her and Br Tompkins in the same congregation for years. They were a real source of encouragement! Especially when I worked with her on their paper route when Br Tompkins had knee surgery. I can still hear Br Tompkins say: “So you want to be a paper boy, huh?” She was an instrument in Jehovah’s hand, for if it wouldn’t have been for that time I may not have dedicated my life to Jehovah when I did. I will dearly miss her but I’m confident we will welcome her back in the joyous resurrection!

Genever was my very first Bible study I conducted when my husband and I moved to Louisiana in the late 60's. She and Tommy gave us a lot of joy when they both dedicated their lives to Jehovah. Their daughters and due to Genever's zealous preaching many more of her relatives came to love Jehovah also.  We also did a lot of fun things with them too.  Genever helped a lot of people and I know she will be greatly missed not only by her family but by the congregation and all who knew her.
