Betty is survived by her son, Ronald Wayne Aubry and wife, Charlotte, of New Caney, Texas; her daughter Janet Sue Pickens and husband, Kerry of Oakwood, Texas; sister, Mary Cook; 4 granddaughters, Penny Griffin, Sabrena Ashley, Veronica Woods and her husband Mark, Jordan Goodrum and her husband, Heath; 3 grandsons, Robert Hall, James Hall and wife, Cassie, and Kerry Pickens ll; Betty was blessed with 3 great-grandsons, 7 great-granddaughters, 3 great-great-grandsons, and 2 great-great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Oliver; brother, Ambrose Wooley; half-brothers, J.C. Wooley, William Wooley, James Benefield and Kenneth Benefield.
Betty attended church at Parks Heights Assembly of God, in Tyler, Texas. She loved her pastor, her church family and enjoyed the good music every week.
Betty worked for over 20 years at the Boilermakers Hall, Local 74, in Houston, Texas. She was the Dispatcher and the Secretary, but she went above and beyond her job description, helping the insurance claims and other paperwork. No one ever went to the office without getting a big hug from Betty. She was also the activity photographer at the Senior Citizen Hall in Tyler, Texas. She left behind many albums of memories.
A time of visitation for Betty will be held Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., following the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at Park Heights Assembly of God, 2824 Van Highway, Tyler, TX. Betty's graveside service will occur Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. at Guiceland Cemetery, 4075 Anderson County Road 174, Grapeland, TX.
