Elizabeth Farrell passed away peacefully Thursday the 12th of March at her home in Flushing, NY.
Born January 19, 1958 to Martin and Ann Farrell in the Bronx, Elizabeth later resided in Queens (Jamaica and Flushing). She was very involved with the 508th Parachute Infantry Association, the combat infantry group in which her uncle Matty Teahan served. Uncle Matty was killed in action in the Normandy campaign during WW II. She devoted significant time to combat veteran functions; she was the primary contributor to a book about her Uncle Matty (www.unclemattycomeshome.com).
Elizabeth is survived by her brothers Martin (Marie), John (Patricia), James (Monica) and sister Patricia (Ralph) Regina. She is fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews, grand-niece and grand-nephews.
