Born on April 18, 1979, Josh lived life to the fullest. His dedication to his family was most important to him and the countless hours that he spent as a spectator at Kaitlyn’s gymnastics meets or watching her cheer or coaching Ethan’s soccer team or finding time to have with his family is a testament to his love and devotion to his family. Josh, Lori, Kaitlyn and Ethan were a true family unit that enjoyed their time together and bonded like we all wish we could as a family and were dedicated members of Levy Church of Christ. A tribute post said, “He was a great dad... The kind of dad we need more of.” As daughter Kaitlyn said, “he is the person who I trusted most in this world, the one who I would sit down and cry with and vent to for an hour, no one could make me laugh like he could.” Others described him as always kind and ready to help anyone who needed it and had the best sense of humor. Josh Farmer was a kind and friendly soul and will be missed by all. He was exceptional in his strength and ability to keep going when lesser men would need a breather. Nothing could stop him when family and friends needed him. Above all, his love for his family was boundless. When not with his family, Josh enjoyed hunting, fishing, and everything outdoors. He was a self-made professional. Josh was preceded in death by his grandfather James Farmer (paternal) and Steve Fehrenbach (maternal). Survivors include his beloved wife Lori and children Kaitlyn and Ethan; parents: Dennis (Vicki) Farmer and Karen (Monty) Cole; sister Anna (Bryan) Smith; brothers Jon (Miranda) Farmer and Michael (Madison) Samuhel; Grandmothers Betty Fehrenbach and Birdye Farmer; In-laws Ron and Bonnie Cohen, sister-in-law Lindsey (Luke) McCoy and adoring nieces and nephews: Samuel Smith, Caspin, Audrey and James Farmer, and Addison, Brady and Gabby McCoy. His friends are countless.
