Michael Joe Ivins, 59, passed away peacefully, on Sunday, March 15, 2020, in Edmond, OK. Michael was born on May 20, 1960 to parents Melvin and Neola in Oklahoma City, OK.
Michael worked as an information technology specialist at the Guthrie Job Corps Center. He was very proud of his career.
He is preceded in death by father, Melvin Ivins and mother, Neola Ivins.
Michael is survived by his wife, Glenda Ivins of Edmond, OK; daughters, Savana Haff and Tyler Wadel of Edmond, OK and Tina Salzwedel and husband, Kevin of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Edward Hammer and wife, Shelley of Pryor, OK. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Michael, Luke, John, Sam, Loralei, Hunter, Kayla and Austin, to cherish his memory.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Michael’s life on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 8701 N.W. Expressway, Oklahoma City, OK 73162.
