She loved musicals, and theatre, art and sitcoms. She enjoyed writing and had wanted to go into journalism as a young girl. Prior to her stroke some years ago, she loved taking adult education classes, walking for exercise, outdoor concerts and having Savta days with her grandchildren. She was a bridge player in her younger days and a member of multiple Jewish organizations. She loved to travel with her family and to celebrate everything with her children, grandchildren and her Rudy. She was a caregiver to her mother and her husband. The love of her parents, Morris and Pearl Wise, and her childhood home in Waco were deeply rooted in her psyche. As her memory of current events started to fade, her memories of home gave her comfort. She had two great loves in her life; her late husband Harris Allan Fine, and for the last 24 years, Rudy Glick.
Marilyn is survived by her daughters Gwen Fine Roberts (Ron) of Plano, TX and Marci Benson (Doug) of Burlingame, CA; grandchildren: Benjamin Benson, Hannah Roberts, Geran Benson and Chloe Roberts; and her companion in life: Rudy Glick. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Harris A. Fine.
