Tyler Christian Jacobson, age 24, of Johns Creek, Georgia transitioned to his heavenly home, Sunday, March 15, 2020. He was born December 4, 1995 in Atlanta, Georgia, the son of Joyce and Robert Jacobson. Tyler attended University of Redlands in Redlands CA. He was pursuing a career in computer science.
Tyler loved his large family. He especially enjoyed spending time with his brothers and many cousins. Besides his family his passion was traveling. He enjoyed experiencing different cultures. He traveled all around the world with his dear friend Lachlan. They were fortunate enough to visit Australia, South Korea, Denmark, Japan, Sweden, Norway, Europe and many more. The European trip was a special trip with with his brothers and parents. He looked forward to the annual Hilton Head trip with his extended family. One of his favorite memories was playing beer pong with his family including his grandpa on the beachfront porch.
One of his many talents was his skill with computers. His ultimate career goal was to combine this skill with travel. Tyler enjoyed video games, skiing, snowboarding, working out, and hanging out with his dog Georgia. He also shared a special bond with his cousin Will who was like a brother to him.
He loved meeting new people and possessed the gift of conversation. Tyler was a very compassionate person he found joy in helping people and connecting with them. His infectious smile, outstanding wit and passion for life will forever be missed by those who knew him.
Tyler was an incredible son, grandson, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. His life and his love for his family will always be remembered. His life will be cherished by his loving parents: Joyce and Robert Jacobson, of Johns Creek, Georgia; brothers, Jeffrey Jacobson, of Peachtree Corners, Georgia, Michael Jacobson and his fiancé Leah McIntyre, of Roswell, Georgia; Grandparents Margaret and Nicholas Ceto Jr. of Suwanee, GA. Tyler will also be missed by his many aunts and uncles: Cheryl Ceto, Mary and Nick Ceto, Amie Pagan and Douglas Ceto, Tom and Alyssa Ceto, Lynda and John Jacobson, Carol and Gerard O’Connor, and Janet and Don Jacobson. He will also be survived by many amazing cousins and wonderful friends.
Visitation will be held at Roswell Funeral Home on March 19, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, Georgia 30076. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 am on Friday March 20, 2020 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Johns Creek, GA. Interment following the service at Arlington Memorial Park, 201 Mt. Vernon Highway NW, Sandy Springs, Georgia 30328. Due to concerns about the Coronavirus and following the direction of the Archdiocese of Atlanta, the Visitation, Mass and Interment will be limited to family members only. The family will host a celebration of Tyler’s life for friends and family at a later date when the Corona virus has subsided.
