Gloria was born on May 29, 1928 in Montreal, QE, Canada to Zelda (nee Levine) and Charles Hirsch, moved to the Bronx, NY at 6-months of age, moved to California in the early 1950’s, became a U.S citizen in 1955, and has been a Nevada resident since 1991. In Gloria’s early years, as a housewife, she worked as a correspondent for a local newspaper; and later in life was an underwriter and manager for a mortgage company. She was active in her community, loved to knit blankets for hospice patients, and loved to sing and tap dance. She is predeceased by her parents; Larry H. Hayman, her beloved husband of 47 years; and grandson, Brandon Nanny. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Winn; sister, Babetta Sytner (Mark); grandson, Robert Winn (Jennifer); three great-grandchildren, Michaela, Madden, and Hailie; four nieces, Janna, Mindy, Lisa, and Beth; two nephews, Rick and Michael; many more great-nieces and great-nephews; and her good friends, Aegli and Nick Crow. Burial services were held at Palm Valley View Cemetery, Las Vegas, NV. Family requests that memorial donations made to The American Heart Association. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
