Mike  was a delightful person to work with.  We would often talk and laugh together. H e will definitely be missed by me and many others.  Rest in peace Mike.

I went to school with Mike from middle school to graduation. Mostly remember him as a gifted athlete and friend to everyone. Would love to know circumstances for which he received the Purple Heart. My heart-felt condolences to his brother Bob and the rest of his family. Andi

Mike & I were very close friends and teammates during high school in Valley Center.  His brother, John, and my brother, also John, were best friends as well.  Sadness in my heart to learn of Mike’s passing ...is beyond words. My condolences to his family,  and I will always look back to our friendship and joyful times we spent together.  Peace.

So glad Mike and I could have a last laugh together.  Me wearing St. Patrick’s day attire.   We had a lot of fun together at work.  Mike and I had the same dry, witty sense of humor.   He always new about my favorite sports teams and would ask me about them.   I knew he had served in Vietnam but was unaware that he was a Purple Heart recipient.  I can only hope that he receives the proper honors that he has earned.  Mike is and will always be remembered as a great guy with a keen sense of humor.  I am truly sorry for your loss and ours.  My prayers for all of your family. 

I worked with Mike in automation for years.   He  always had a sarcastic remark or poked fun at me or our coworkers.   He made our job bearable and put many smiles on our faces.   You are truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed Mike!

So very sorry to hear of Mike's passing.  Was lucky to have spent many "breaks" with him at the GMF.  Know he left this world leaving wonderful memories for many people.  He will be missed.


Mike was one of the first people I met at the GMF.  Most recently I worked with him on the flatsorter.  We always made each other laugh.  I truly miss him.

I worked with Mike in a couple different sections at the GMF and was very sad to hear of his passing. I loved his sense of humor and he made the job more bearable. My all the good memories you have of him help your family with your loss.  

Marty and I worked with Mike at the GMF. Mike brought laughter every day to the workplace. We have thought of him often since we retired and were very saddened to hear the news of his passing. Sending our love and prayers for the family.
