Willadene (Willow) Heim passed away on March 22 at the Cartersville Medical Center. She was 90 years old. Mrs. Heim was preceded in death by her husband John and her sister Erma Fry. She leaves behind a daughter and son-in- law Peggy and Kevin Lobello of Cartersville and a son and daughter-in-law Mick and Beth Heim of Baton Rouge, LA. She also leaves behind grandchildren Elizabeth and Adam Edwards, John Lobello, Sarah and Tyler Pearson , Stephen and Christine Heim and Kelley and Chris Heim- Maier. Mrs. Heim also had two great-grandchildren, Kevin Lobello and Willow Grace Edwards, whom she adored. Mrs. Heim was a certified respiratory therapist. Her last positon was with the American Lung Association. She loved her family and loved the United Methodist Church. She was a member of Sam Jones United Methodist. Mrs. Heim was the former Lay Leader of the LaGrange District and former pastor of Salem and St James United Methodist Churches. She was the founder of God’s Bread Basket Food Pantry in Hogansville, GA and was a gifted and accomplished quilter.
