Kevin Scott Mouse was born on Wednesday, July 9th, 1980, in Claremore, OK, the son of Michael Mouse and Ludavene (Fields) Hudson. He attended and graduated from Sequoyah High School , and spent many hours in the company of his best friends, his brothers, Kristopher and Kurtis. When he graduated, he began his studies at NSU, and these continued for two years. He decided on a career as the grounds keeper for the Cherokee Nation Golf Course, a job he took great pride in and did very well. When he wasn’t working, he was with those he loved the most, his family. His nieces and nephew were the greatest happiness in life. Anytime spent with K’Lee, Kenzee, Kyndle, and Cashon were very special for Kevin. He was a sports enthusiast, never missing an OU Football game or a Cardinals Baseball game. Kevin also enjoyed a good game of basketball and the occasional round of golf. Video games were a favorite way to spend a few hours in the evening as well. Kevin was a people person, once he got to know you, you could bet you would see he had a great sense of humor, and could talk your ear off. He was a loving son, brother, uncle, co-worker and friend. He had a great smile and a wonderful wit that showed through once he knew you. Getting together with his family during the special celebrations was always something Kevin looked forward to. He passed all too quickly from those he loved on Monday, March 23rd, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family. He was 39 years old and will be greatly missed by his many family and friends.
Kevin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Nancy Mouse, his maternal grandparents, Tom and Frances Fields, and many aunts and uncles.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Michael Mouse of Briggs, OK and Ludavene Fields –Hudson and husband Randell of Madill, OK. He leaves two adored brothers, Kristopher Mouse and fiancé Mallory Gourd and Kurtis Mouse all of Tahlequah, OK. He lives on in his nieces and nephew, K’Lee Mouse, Kenzee Mouse, Kyndle Mouse and Cashon Mouse, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones, too numerous to mention.
