Daniel Elliott Pendleton, 33 of Tempe, formerly of Yuma, AZ passed away suddenly on April 25, 2020. Daniel was raised in Yuma where he graduated from Cibola High School. He went on to graduate from Arizona State University with a degree in Industrial Design. After graduating from ASU, Daniel founded his own company, Design Neon where he enjoyed pursuing his passion of helping small businesses with their marketing efforts.
From an early age Daniel was passionate about anything creative. Art classes were always the best time in school, and getting messy was all part of the fun. His passion only grew brighter as he got older and his ideas went from mud pies and Lego’s to computer building and painting on canvases. In college he enjoyed exploring other mediums of design including computer modeling for 3 D printers.
Daniel also enjoyed the outdoors. This began as a youngster with many family campouts and morphed into his more recent passion of rock climbing. Dan found joy in being with family and friends and enjoying God’s creation.
Daniel’s memory will live on with his parents, Robert and Nancy Pendleton and his sister, Emily (Brad) Sellers and their two sons, Jax and Ryker, all of Yuma and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and his faithful dog, Doctor.
Daniel was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Leo and Ruby Pendleton and his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Lorena Werner.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Johnson Mortuary of Yuma, AZ. Private services will be held at Christ Lutheran Church, Yuma, AZ where Daniel's cremains will be interred in the Columbarium at the church.
