Paul J. Samoriski of Port St. Lucie and formerly of Miami, Florida, was born October 14, 1922 in Sykesville, PA and passed away at the age of 97 on May 5, 2020. Paul is survived by three children: Paulette Glebocki, Marlene Christensen, and John Samoriski; six grand children: Renata Glebocki, Marisa Rodriquez, Katrina Christensen, Kyle Christensen, Paul Samoriski, and John Samoriski; two great grandchildren: Oliver and Maltida Rodriquez. He was predeceased by his wife Gladys, brother Albert, and sister Dorothy.
Paul served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific during World War II and participated in atomic bomb tests post war. Paul utilized the G.I. Bill and earned a MBA degree. He was a long time teacher at Southwest High School in Miami, Fl. He was proud of achieving his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. He was a lover of all animals including fancy chickens and enjoyed the breeding, showing and training of dogs. Internment is planned for Pennsylvania. No services are planned at this time. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the animal shelter of your choice.
