Beverly “Jean” Parsons, 91, of Port Charlotte, Florida left peacefully to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Jean was born in Hammond, Indiana to Gordon and Ethel Williams. She grew up in Hammond with her two brothers and two sisters. Jean married her husband, Bob Parsons, and they were married for 67 years. Jean loved to sing in church choirs and trios at both Grace Baptist church in Binghamton, NY and Grace Baptist Church in Lombard, IL. She also sang solos accompanied by her husband Bob on the organ. Jean was most happy to be a stay at home mom to her two children. After moving to Florida, Jean became a member of Mudock Baptist Church in Port Charlotte, FL. Jean is survived by her children Debbie (Ted) Bailey of Port Charlotte FL and Don (Danette) Parsons of Naperville, IL; her granddaughters Aleta (Gloyd) Stadel of Arcadia, FL and Denae (Jeff) Stein of Valdese, NC; her great-grandchildren Anastasia and Xavier Stadel; her twin sister June Sajdyk; her sister-in-law Susan Williams; and her sister-in-law Kate Gage. Jean was preceded in death by her husband Bob Parsons; daughter Aleta Parsons; her parents Gordon and Ethel Williams; her brother Bob Williams; her brother Jerry Williams; and her sister Lucille (Wilbur) Clavier. There will be no service due to the corona virus restrictions. Jean will be laid to rest on Thursday, May 14 at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace Illinois.
