MRS. NANCY J. DILL, A.K.A. “FRED”, DIED
EARLY MONDAY MORNING, MAY 11, 2020.

Nancy Jeanette Dill passed away at her home in Panorama City, Monday morning at 6:12 A.M., a victim of multiple strokes with complications, during the 60 days preceding her death. Because of the “Covid-19 coronavirus” pandemic, Nancy was locked down in the medical facilities, unable to be visited by her family. She was brought home from the hospital on 07 May 2020, so the family could see her. She was under hospice care at home, until her death.
Her’s is a tragic death indeed, for she was young in years, and the medical problems surfaced in a matter of days and grew worse with each passing day, after onset.
She was born in Dos Palos, Merced county, California on March 22,1948. She was the eldest daughter of Willard Loven Ritchie,Jr. and Marilyn Rae Benefiel. She is survived by three sisters: Brenda Munns, Gail Mitchell, and Karen Jacobs. And one brother: James B.Pruden, Jr.
She is survived by one son: Robert William Cochran, two daughter’s: Tina Justine Olson and Michel Marilyn Dill. Ten (10) Grandchildren and Four (4) Great-Grandchildren.
For the majority of her lifetime, she lived in the South Bay area of Southern California. She had many friends and family in the Beach cities and other surrounding communities.
Funeral arrangements, planning, transport and other services were provided by Halverson, Stone and Myers mortuary, located in Old Torrance.
Because of the pandemic, graveside funeral services were held on May 19th 2020 @12:30 PM, at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, with Chaplain Ryan Small conducting the service.
