Cesar Cabalfin, 76, of Las Vegas, Nevada was called home to Heaven on May 8, 2020 at Southern Hills Hospital, Las Vegas. He was born October 22, 1943 in Leon, Iloilo, Philippines. He was married to Luzviminda Tenorio Cabalfin for 48 loving years.
Cesar earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Philippines University. He worked conscientiously as an Information Technology Systems Analyst at CNA in Chicago, Illinois and Allstate in Northbrook, Illinois.
He enjoyed playing pickleball at the Siena Pickleball Club of Las Vegas, taking long walks and working out at the gym. He absolutely adored all of his five grandchildren and treasured his time with them, especially over the summer when he visited them in Illinois. He was a loving, kind-hearted and caring man who lit up a room with his bright smile and carefree laughter whenever he saw his grandchildren and family. He and his wife, Luzviminda, relished their travel to Israel, Europe and the Philippines, their favorite destinations.
Cesar and his wife were devout parishioners at St. Joseph, Husband of Mary in Las Vegas, where they went to church every Sunday and made long-lasting friends.
He is survived by his children: Caesar Joseph Cabalfin, Cheryl Jane Cabalfin and Brian Michael Cabalfin and his grandchildren: Faith Marie Cabalfin, Hope Roberta Cabalfin, Gabriel Caesar Cabalfin, Nicholas Richard Wilson and Alessandra Judith Wilson.
Funeral arrangements will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery on Saturday, May 23, 2020. The visitation is 12:30PM to 2:00PM. The liturgy service is at 2:00PM. The burial is at 3:00PM.
