Shanti grew up in Campinas, Brazil and then became an exchange student at Fredericktown High School in Ohio where she met the love of her life, Earl Price. They were married on February 28, 1976 in Campinas, Brazil. In 1995, they moved to Florida, where she worked for Marriott for over 10 years before she decided to dedicate her life to her family. She was a loving wife, dedicated mother, adoring grandmother, classical pianist, animal lover, and a true warrior for the Lord. She dedicated her life to her family and church. She enjoyed taking her grandkids shopping, doing crafts, going to the skate park, taking them swimming, watching sporting events, teaching her grandson to drive, and so much more. She enjoyed playing golf, gardening, scrapbooking, working on crafts, knitting, and bible studies. She loved traveling, especially on family vacations. She loved Hill Country Bible Church where she was a member since 2008. She attended Bible Study Fellowship for over a decade and she was a true testament of Christ’s unconditional love.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Price, two children, Camila (Carl) Holzhauer, Danny (Gail) Price, and three grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, and Talitha. She is preceded in death by her mother, Tereza Doro and survived by her father, Gunther Staude.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, May, 19, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 1200 Bagdad Rd., Leander, Texas 78641. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Bagdad Cemetery, 400 N Bagdad Rd., Leander, Texas 78641.
