Dorman Lee Rogers age 92 passed on May 20, 2020 at Integris Southwest from COVID19 and complications. Dorman was born on December 23, 1927 to Murry Edward Rogers and Mary Luella Pease Rogers in Oklahoma City, Ok. He was drafted into the Navy February 13, 1946. Served in the Pacific theater, stationed in Guam, Singapore, and the Philippines. He was discharged on February 12, 1948. Dorman attended Central High School. He married Alice Rose Thayer on September 30, 1948 in El Reno, Ok. They made their home in Chickasha, Ok and then Oklahoma City, OK. Dorman and Alice had three children Tommy Lee, Charles Edward, and Billy Glenn. Dorman was preceded in death by his wife Alice, son Billy Glenn, parents Murry and Mary Luella, sisters Deola Mae Purvis, Shirley Bryan, and Joyce Ilene Rogers, and his grandson Trent Lee Rogers.He worked his whole life in the produce industry of grocery. Dorman was a devoted family man who loved fishing with his kids and grandkids and enjoyed working with Boy Scouts of America, Hiram Masonic Lodge, and DeMolay.He is survived by his son Tommy Lee Rogers and wife Karen of Broken Arrow, Ok; his son Charles Edward Rogers and wife Barbara of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Jim Rogers and wife Gail of Edmond, Ok; sisters Carol Lynn McElyea and husband Donnie of Edmond, Ok; Connie Patterson of Albuquerque, NM; Elizabeth Pascal and husband Don of Tucson, AZ; Granddaughter Tracey Pittman of Indiana and her children Taylore and Stormie; Grandson Phillip Rogers of Illinois and his children Charles, Cortlyn, and Caiden; Grandson Robert Rogers and his wife Carolyn of Midwest City, OK and their children Eddy, Dylan, and Shelby; Grandson Terry Rogers of Oklahoma City, OK and his children Brianna and Landon; Granddaughter Trena Rogers of Mustang, Ok. There are many other nieces and nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Heart Association, Alzheimer’s or your favorite charity.
