Linda Owen of Florissant, Missouri passed away on May 18, 2020 at the age of 69. She is survived by her loving husband, Albert; children Jacob and Ryan; sister Peggy Cruse and brother-in-law Bill Cruse; niece and nephews, Clint Cruse, Dawn Malcolm, and Darren Cruse; and is preceded in death by father Carl Cannady, mother Minnie Cannady, and brother Donald Cannady.
Linda graduated from William Jewel College and the University of Missouri-St, Louis. She has devoted her life to teaching, especially in teaching of the gifted. Linda was active in the creative problem solving program Odyssey of the Mind since 1987 and was the Association Director of the program in Missouri. Linda loved her family, her puppies (no matter how old), all babies and children, Odyssey of the Mind, both the program and the awesome people who make it happen, books, good mysteries, the beach, Walt Disney World, the St. Louis Zoo, flowers (especially Big Bird Day Lilies), and the Cardinals (remember Bill White?). She loved life.
She is and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life event will be held at a later date at Alexander - White - Mullen Funeral Home.
