My dear Wilson Felix was born in Sao Simao, Sao Paulo, Brazil on July 1st, 1942. He was 77 years when he passed quietly in the home he loved in Lake Mary, FL on May 21, 2020. He suffered from Lewy Body dementia which slowly progresses until the patient loses some vital function.
He was a kind, gentle man who loved me and his eight brothers and sisters very much. He had numerous nieces and nephews, whom he was proud of, including Patricia, whom lived with us for over a year. We were married on June 24, 1973. We were married 46 years.
Wilson was an achiever and he came to the United States when he was 18 years old. He worked hard to get his MBA from New York University. And was promptly employed in various companies finally retiring from Crown Cork and Seal—a bottling company in Pennsylvania. He spoke Spanish, English and Portuguese, But his favorite of all was French, and was constantly reading books in French. Of course, his favorite country was France.
We lived a total of 7 years in Brazil and from there we traveled to Europe, and Argentina. He did, however, travel all over South America, as part of his work.
He was kind and sympathetic in a quiet way, and showered me with gifts and perfumes. But what I will truly miss was his amazement with God’s nature. He always stared at the beauty of the moon and the flowers and always said “Only a perfect being could have created all of this”.
Rest in peace, my love.
