Jack Lawson Patton, 82, of Houston, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020. Jack was born in Chicago, IL on November 6th, 1937, to Joseph Lawson Patton and Carmela Thomas Patton. He was an avid fisherman that loved early morning trips to Galveston. He would always return with a large catch, even if he had to buy it on the way home. He spent over 40 years in the automotive sales industry which included Peacock Chevrolet, Beck and Masten Buick GMC, Ernie Guzman Pontiac GMC, and David Taylor Cadillac.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Deadrian “Dee Dee” (Jackson) Patton, his daughters Stephanie Strange (David) and Jacqueline Thompson (Rockie), his stepmother, Elizabeth Patton, 6 sisters and two brothers, as well as several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Carmela and his brother, Winston.
Jack requested to be cremated. In consideration of the health and safety of friends and family during COVID19, a private memorial will be held for the immediate family at which time his ashes will be spread over his favorite fishing hole.
