Irma will be forever loved and remembered by her husband, Robert Von Carter, and their precious daughters, Lauren Savannah and Cameron Vonnae. Irma also leaves behind her parents Aurelia and Enrique, her siblings Martha (Alfonso), Laura, Ana (David), Raul and Guillermo. Irma will also be forever remembered by niece Tiffany, nephews Kody and Sebastian, extended family and dear friends. A sister, who went to be with the Lord as an infant, preceded Irma.
Irma's biggest passion was her family. She married Von, her best friend, 23 years ago. They had two beautiful daughters to whom she was a devoted and dedicated mother. They were her pride and joy. Always supportive, Von lovingly cared for Irma throughout her courageous fight and was continuously by her side.
Although suffering and in pain, due to sickness, Irma was graciously humble to everyone in her life. She was family-oriented, sincere, kindhearted, smart and sassy. Those who knew and loved her will painfully miss her bold personality, witty humor, mischievous ways, pretty smile and beautiful soul. She took a little bit of each of us with her. Among her many interests, Irma loved listening to music, painting and good conversations accompanied with laughter. She also enjoyed cooking and baking for others.
The family wishes to thank the Encompass Hospice of Houston and Silverado Hospice staff whose compassionate care, support and love for Irma will always be remembered.
