Wesley was born July 12, 1977 in Beaumont, Texas.
Those left with cherished memories are his father, Paul Loftin; mother, Karen Macteod and husband Jim; his spouse of many years K.W. Winkles; sister, Lauren Loftin; step sister, Elizebeth Madrigal; two nieces, Karen Sue Battle and Jesse Mae Marshall; his fur animals Tobi (cat), Tigger (cat) and Brutus (dog) along with a host of other beloved family and friends who will miss him dearly.
Wes Loftin was the kind of person that treated strangers like longtime friends and could start up a conversation with just about anybody, but only showed his most vulnerable side to those few he trusted. He was a mix of hard and soft emotions, but when he let someone in, he let them in completely, and they would find one of the sweetest and most caring people this world had to offer.
He had a passion for the culinary arts and technology, which he pursued in higher education and excelled in both fields. He constantly strived to better himself in both his personal and professional life.
Despite thinking himself incapable of making friends and close connections, he would be filled with so much joy and happiness to see the outpouring of love shown by those hearing of his passing. I don’t think he knew the impact he made on so many people, but all of our lives are better for having him in it.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.andersonclaytonterrell.com for the Loftin family.
