Lisa Dawn Williams, of Jonesborough, TN passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2020, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Washington County, Tennessee, a daughter of Samuel Dewey Taylor and Dianna Marie Webster Taylor. She was preceded in death by one brother, William Russell Taylor.
Lisa was the Operational Support Manager for Girl Scouts of America in Johnson City. She had previously worked for 20 years with Whites Fresh Foods as a Computer Analyst. She was always taking care of her family and loved cooking for everyone. Her special recipes were always made with Love. She was the best Lolly to her grandchildren Piper and Tallulah, and a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews who she loved to spoil. Lisa was an advocate for Type 1 Diabetes supporting family members who was diagnosed with Type 1. She was a very loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to many who will be greatly missed.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 32 years, Roy Williams; one daughter, Emily Wallace and husband Joseph; one son, Benj Williams; two grandchildren, Piper and Tallulah Wallace; two brothers, Samuel Taylor and wife Jill, and Andy Taylor and wife Holly; two sisters, Deborah Miller and husband Joseph, and Jennifer Braswell and husband Jon; and several nieces and nephews.
Committal Service and Interment will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, June 15, 2020 in Section D at Monte Vista Memorial Park with her brother Samuel Taylor officiating. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of 2900 at Johnson City Medical Center for all their love and wonderful care that was provided.
