Dolores “Dee” Dean Forget, age 90, went home to be with her heavenly father on Saturday, June 13, 2020. She was born in Yukon, OK on June 30, 1929 to Ernie M. Robison and Vera Opal Robison Jackson. She grew up in various towns in Oklahoma and lived her final years in Midwest City, OK.
Dee attended Bethany High School and studied at Rose State College. She married W. J. Hobby and they adopted a son, Richard Hobby. Later on in her life she married Charles Forget. She retired from the Oklahoma State Tax Commission after many years of dedicated service. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time at the lake. Unknown to most people she was also a talented artist. She was a Native American beauty who loved to keep her hair and nails always perfect. Her joy came from spending time with family especially her nephews and grandsons.
Dee was predeceased by her parents; her husband Charles Forget; son Richard Lee Hobby; brother Robert L. Robison, Sr; and sister Jaqueline Beckham.
She is survived by her daughter-in-law Kellie Hobby of Edmond, OK; step-daughters: Nancy Young of Edmond, OK; Linda Neill (Tim) of OKC; and Sheri Forget of Edmond, OK. Grandsons: TJ Hobby (Pamela); Eddie Neuman (Vee); Cory Roberts (Sara); Jay Neill (Megan); Tyler Neill; Alex Forget and 6 great-grandchildren. Nephews Robert L. Robison, Jr. (Darlene) of Tecumseh, OK; Barry Robison (Nancy) of Hot Springs, AR; Ernie Robison (Helga) of Palmer, AK; and Fred Vannoy (Terry) of Harrah, OK.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Bill Eisenhour Funeral Home, 8805 NE 23, OKC.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Arlington Memory Gardens in Midwest City. Social distancing will be the responsibility of each person attending.
