Elnora was born on October 22nd, 1953 in East St. Louis, Illinois to the late George Albert Smith, Sr. and Fannie Eliza Smith. She graduated from Lincoln High School in East St. Louis. She died a servant of Jehovah on Friday, June 12th, 2020 at Harborview Health Systems in Dyersburg, Tennessee. Elnora loved to shop and dress up. She also loved music, travel, the ministry work and reading.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She leaves to cherish her memory, two sisters, Levora Taylor of Glen Carbon, Illinois and LaRhonda Smith of Peoria, Illinois; seven brothers, George A. Smith, Jr. of Peoria, Illinois, Bernard Smith of Fairview Heights, Illinois, Baldwin Smith of Leesburg, Virginia, Carlos (Kathy) Smith of Suffolk, Virginia, Charles (Valerie) Smith of Houston, Texas, Kelvin Smith of Greeley, Colorado, and Dana (Demetra) Smith of Southaven, Mississippi. Also left to cherish her memory are 12 nieces, 6 nephews and a host of cousins, in-laws, other relatives and spiritual brothers and sisters who will cherish their memories of Elnora.
Elnora believed the promise at Revelation 21:4: “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Acknowledgements: The Smith family would like to express our sincere and deepest appreciation for the comforting calls, cards, texts and prayers that have lifted our spirits and have been a true reflection of honor and praise to our God Jehovah, who is described as the God of all comfort.

Memorial services for Elnora were held on Saturday, June 20, 2020 with Bro. George Johnson officiating.
