Gloria was born May 10, 1947, in Alexandria, VA, and went home to God June 15, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harold. She was the daughter of the late William Richard Heflin and Isabel Constance Heflin. Even though she held many professional jobs, including driving a school bus for Prince William County Schools (VA), her primary focus was keeping a household, loving her husband, raising her children, spending time with her siblings, worshipping at church, and most importantly, being the best Grandma on the planet! She was adventurous, free-spirited and full of life. She overcame many challenges in her life, never letting anything or anyone stop her from living life to its fullest. She gave the love of God to everyone she met and welcomed them with open arms full of warmth and acceptance. To Gloria nothing and no one had to be perfect. She really captured the essence of forgiveness and giving from the heart.
Gloria is survived by her sons, Christopher Dugan (Rebecca), William Dugan (Michele); daughters, Jamie Souther (Justin), Heather Haislip (TJ); brothers, James Heflin (Valerie), Thomas Heflin; sister, Janet Sandlin; half brothers, Michael Wayne Heflin and Anthony Heflin, and her absolute Earth Angels - her 13 grandchildren and great grand child.
