Mary Gardiner

Mary was born November 27, 1947 in Dallas, TX to Virgil and Nora C Lawson (Casey). She graduated

from Westford Academy. She worked primarily as a secretary; eventually she studied law and became a certified Paralegal.

Mary loved socializing, singing, dancing, animals and nature, writing poetry, travelling and reading.

Her most cherished time was spent surrounded by her family and friends. She especially enjoyed watching The New England Patriots, Boston Red Sox, and Boston Bruins. She loved Yahtzee, word games, Bingo, Scrabble and she would always take you up on a game of double solitaire. She collected Angels and was known and loved for her kindness, humor and generosity.

Mary was preceded in death by her father and mother, three brothers, Martin (Speedy) Lawson, Marshall Lawson, Melvin (Smokey) Lawson and one sister Marlene Collins. She is survived by two daughters Dawn M Smith, her husband Glenn, Mary C “Cathy” Hughes, one granddaughter Kaylee A White, her husband Phillip, two brothers Mark Lawson, Michael Lawson, one sister Madilene Lawson and many nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours and burial will be private.
