Born in Terceira, Acores, Portugal, a daughter of the late Antonio and Carolina (DeJesus) Reis, she immigrated to the United States over fifty years ago having settled in Fall River obtaining her citizenship.
She worked in the textile industry at the former Louis Hand for many years. She was a communicant of Santo Christo Church. Always dressed to her Sunday best, she enjoyed meeting with friends at the coffee shop to share a cup of coffee and a good laugh. Quite domesticated, she was an excellent cook and loved to make meals for her family.
She is survived by one son, Antonio Vitorino; daughter-in-law, Silvia Boleates; five grandchildren, Justin Vitorino, Antonio Vitorino Jr., Cassandra Vitorino, Ashley Boleates and Selena Boleates all of Fall River and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Evangelina Carvalho and Antonio Reis.
Due to current restrictions on public gatherings, her funeral services will be private.
