Robert Lee Jenkins-Koch was born on April 17, 1951, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Robert and Lavenia Jenkins. Robert was an extraordinary individual and loving partner for 43 years. He was the type of person who made friends easily wherever he went.
Robert spent time as a commercial artist for a variety of companies after he graduated high school. Later on in life, he held a position as a Travel Agent for ten years and enjoyed taking trips to England. Robert adored England and all the wonderful people he met there throughout the years.
Christmas was Robert’s favorite season of the year! Businesses and friends alike would reach out to him and request that he help decorate their spaces. Some of Robert’s other enjoyments in life were the performing arts, entertaining, and cooking. (And when he cooked, he REALLY cooked!)
Robert was known by many for the jackets that he designed for the Ms. Texas Beauty Pageant. As he grew older, Robert, spent time on the board for Ms. Fort Worth Beauty Pageant. He sat on the board for two floral shops as well as five other boards for various industries. Robert stayed active as a Volunteer Ambassador for DFW International Airport for thirteen and a half years.
Robert Lee Jenkins is proceeded in death by his parents. He leaves behind his Spouse, Charles Koch, and many other family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all.
