Fletcher S. Carroll, Sr., 82, of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, entered into rest June 22, 2020. Mr. Carroll was born on June 15, 1938, to Robert and Edna Carroll. Fletcher attended Radnor High School in Pennsylvania where he was an all state track Star, Football Player, and Basketball Player. Fletcher continued his athletic accomplishments when he attended Thaddeus Stevens Trade School where he was a Hall of Fame athlete for Football and Track. He then enlisted in the Army where he served in Korea during the Korean War. After, leaving the Army, Fletcher married Mary and raised 5 wonderful children together. As a hardworking man, he was proud to work for the US Postal Service.
Mr. Carroll was preceded in death by his brother, Uncle Skippy (Robert Carroll) and his sister, Aunt Gweny (Gwendolyn Cecilia Carroll). Fletcher is survived by his 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, his 5 sisters, and his 38 nieces and nephews. A very kind, loving man is gone from this world and will be greatly missed by all of his family and long time friends. There will be no services held at this time. Arrangements are made in the care of Craig-Flagler Palms Funeral Home.
