Glenn E. Snodgrass, age 88, passed away at Holmes Regional Hospital on June 23, 2020. He was born September 7, 1931 in Aliquippa, PA to Thomas and Ida Catherine Snodgrass. He was preceded in death by his parents, son Glenn W., brother Richard and sister Gail Walker.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Jane, daughters Gail Bradley, Carol (Marc) Walker, grandson Forrest (Melanie) Bradley and granddaughters Amanda and Alison Walker.
Glenn retired from the US Air Force after 27years. He served in the Korean and Vietnam Wars as well as several overseas tours, retiring at Patrick AFB. After retiring from the Air Force, he worked at the Post office for 13 years.
Glenn was active in his church, Pineda Presbyterian Church where he served as a Decan and made several stained-glass windows for the church.
He enjoyed traveling in their motor home and visited 49 states. He was president of Special Military Active Retired Travel Club (SMART) and the Bounder Club. He loved cruising anywhere and could not pass up a chocolate dessert.
He leaves a legacy of service. He volunteered at Cold Night Shelter, PAFB Retirees and Church volunteer project to name a few. He loved spending time with his family, cruising and watching any sports especially UCF, the Cubbies and the Steelers.
A private family service and burial will be held June 30, 2020 and a Celebration of Life will be planned post Covid restrictions.
