Robert K. Fox was born on April 15th 1921 in Brainerd, Minnesota and died on June 24th 2020 in Taveres, Florida.
Robert served in the United States Navy as a Radar Man First Class from 1942 through 1945. He then enrolled in school at the Dunwoody Institute where he studied electrical engineering. Having seen the potential Robert showed for proficiency in his field, IBM hired him directly from the institute. This began a career with IBM that lasted over 37 years until his retirement from the Chicago office.
Robert was preceded in death by his spouse Genevieve "Jean" Fox with whom he shared a love for shelling. Robert and Jean would vacation in Lehigh Acres each year to go shelling on Sanibel Island.
Robert is survived by his son Gregory Fox (Barbara), his grandchildren Tanya Rueger (Joel) and Erica Novak (Steve) and his great grandchildren Daniel, Derek, Steven Jr., Travis, and Olivia.
