Linda Conte Garver, 79, of Harrisburg, PA, passed away June 23, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. Born September 18, 1940, in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore P. and Ernestine (Acri) Conte. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Ernestine Napoli, and her sisters, Gloria Hessman and Eleanor Okum. She is survived by her husband, William J. Garver, and also the father of her two children, Ernest Napoli, Sr. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Gina Rutledge (Don) and her son, Ernest Napoli II; a devoted grandmother to her grandson Michael Rutledge (Sara) and her three great grandchildren, Chase, Ethan, and Kayla. She is also survived by extended family, many nieces, nephews, cousins, her Goddaughter, and her furbaby, Willie. Linda was born and lived in Harrisburg, PA, and attended St. Francis and Bishop McDevitt High School. She was a cosmetologist for 60 years, retiring only two years ago. She was a devoted parishioner at St. Catherine Laboure’ Church, where she also participated in many church activities and was a member of several local associations. Closest to her heart was spending time with family and friends. Her many passions included fashion, beauty, shopping, decorating, dancing, and tending to her plants. Family and friends are invited to her visitation on Tuesday, June 30, at 10:00 am, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, both at St. Catherine Laboure’ Church, Harrisburg, with burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
