It is with profound sorrow that we mourn the passing of our beloved Paulina Caranto Baturi. A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who sadly suffered heart failure, but was surrounded by loved ones as she peacefully took her last breath on June 23rd, 2020 at the age of 92.
Our precious Paulina was born on August, 29th 1927 in Carmen, Rosales, Pangasinan, Philippines and immigrated to Vancouver, British Columbia in 1996 where she resided the remainder of her life. She was a beautiful, kind-hearted soul with a charming personality and her infinite love and dedication to her family was endlessly immeasurable.
Paulina was married to her one true love, Benito Baturi. Together they had 9 amazing children: Rosita, Romeo, Lourdes, Jimmy, Lolita, Adelaida, Mary, Carolina, Antonio and Lanie. She became a proudly devoted grandmother to 27 grandchildren and helped raise each and every one of them with all of the strength that she had.
Although we are immensely heartbroken by her departure, we are comforted with relief in knowing that she has reunited with her predeceased husband, Benito; daughters, Rosita and Lourdes; sons, Romeo, Jimmy, and Antonio, all of whom we know she deeply missed.
Paulina Caranto Baturi will forever be remembered in our hearts. We will miss her dearly and we will never forget her unfailing love for us all.
Please join us in the Celebration of Paulina’s Life and Legacy.
