Steven began his own roofing company over 50 years ago, Temple Roofing. He was a man who could fix just about anything, and a go-to guy for many relatives and friends. He would do anything to help anyone out.
Steven loved spending time with family and friends, and enjoying using his pig roaster to host pig pickin’s for everyone. When his son was younger, he coached baseball for his teams for many years. Steven loved hunting and remodeling hot rods and antique vehicles in his spare time. He enjoyed hitting the road on a motorcycle, and even bought a trike for him and his wife, Daphne to enjoy riding more recently.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 47 years, Daphne Temple; son Jeremy Temple; brother, Andrew Temple; sisters-in-law, Elaine Moore (Tony) and Jewel Sharp (Oral); and many nephews, great nieces and nephews and extended family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 11:00am at Raleigh Memorial Park in Raleigh. Due to current government restrictions, we ask that you wear a mask and practice social distancing.
